We wanted to create an exclusive and
premier shopping space for men.
Prestige the Man Store began in 1956 as Prestige House for Men on Commercial Street where it is now, a 600sq.ft store that now is 20,000 sq. ft of clothing, bespoke tailoring and accessories grew to extend over seven, precisely curated levels. Prestige Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is the umbrella organisation with all activity directed by Noaman Razack whose father Razack Sattar, a visionary and innovator, far ahead of his time, who founded the original establishment, Director.
A simple beginning in 1956 and, then, ever more multifaceted growth. What endures is clear. Matter of fact. And exceptional. Style, quality and value are constant.
As is change.
There’s always a fine balance between tradition and trend, between how you want to look and “what everyone’s wearing”. And, above all, is to give the customer exactly what he wants.
These are what we live by. They are how we made Prestige the Man Store a presence (OR an influencer) in men’s dressing: clothing, bespoke and accessories.
Our customers came from all over Bangalore, India and abroad to the 600 sq. ft store in Commercial Street. And returned again and again. As does the next generation.
And we grew to meet their needs and expectations. Our store is now a splendid, seven-level destination for everything in men’s clothing, shoes for men and everything besides, for occasions; wedding suits, party shirts and much else.
History
My father Razack Sattar started Prestige House for Men in 1956 and his vision set us on the road to where we are today, and it continues to inspire us as we move ahead. We’ve grown with the city of Bangalore and we like to think that we’ve had a more than a little to do with its cosmopolitan flavour. As the city grows and lifestyles become more and more diverse, we will keep offering those who come here the best in product and service, philosophy and approach.
It’s what we call The Prestige Experience, one Razack Sattar, our founder started to create over 60 years ago and it’s one you’ll always return to.
